I am Metis, an Author, Speaker, Triathlete Coach, Father, Sexual Abuse Conqueror, and Insanity Architect. I am the 2018 winner of The Pride Of Strathcona Mayor’s Award for my charity ride for the Kids With Cancer Society. I live this and am continually improving the system through my own continuing pursuit to push my boundaries physically and mentally.

I have been a Triathlon Coach for six years and have coached several athletes to Ironman Finishes, Half Ironman, and every other Triathlon Distances. I have been a High School Football Coach. A major portion of my career has required me to Coach people in their job performance and help them grow in their careers.

About Nobody Can Take it Away From You: Remember to swim at your own pace; don't try to do too much in the water. Save that energy for later in the day. There's the first buoy. I'm a little too far to the left of it, so I'm going to angle to my right a bit and bring myself in closer. I can't believe that this day is here. One year's worth of training and preparation now comes down to this day. Remember to just focus on the swim, dude. You have 2.4 miles in the water - that's all that matters right now. Focus on your stroke, breathe, and relax. Focus on what you're doing, quiet the mind. I sure hope I don't see any big fish-that would be freaky These are the thoughts of a man just after the mass start of the 2004 Ironman Canada Triathlon. They were my thoughts. I had a long day ahead of me, and I was prepared for what was to come. That race is a lot like my life. I am prepared for whatever the world will throw at me, and I have a great mentor who is always with me.

About Racing Death, A Radical Pursuit: based on a lot of the P-TEAM Coaching platform. The reason for Racing Death is what helped me to create the Platform and bring it to clients to help them succeed. This is not a how-to book; it's a to-do book. I have no magic formula or secret to help you live the life you desire. The truth is that you'll need to do some work. But the ultimate payoff is achieving your vision, drawn from the life-sustaining energy of the Spirit within you. Living dead is not an option. We are Racing Death in pursuit of a life that will give us abundance and eternal peace.

About Junk Yard Dog: If you, or a child you know, has been touched by trauma, pain, disappointment, or abandonment, this book will help bring some healing and hope.
